Commerically bought single-walled carbon nanotubes was compressed into a pellet and applied by mechanical abrasion to four types of paper deposited with gold electrodes. The SWCNT coated paper with the lowest surface roughness (weighing paper) had the best sensitivity toward NH3 gas.
