The authors synthesized a stable cyclopropene based amino acid that they
were able to site-specifically incorporate into E.coli and mammalian
cell proteins and label by clicking with a tetrazole-based fluorophore.
They characterized its reactivity, site-selective incorporation, and
selective labelleling.
